Presenter Guidelines

Oral Papers

  • Use the official slide template.
  • Talks are 12 minutes + 3 minutes Q&A.
  • You must bring a USB drive to upload your slides the morning of your session.

Posters

  • Poster boards have a landscape-oriented layout with 96 inches in width and 48 inches in height.
    • The poster template provided has scaled-down dimensions for your use.
    • The posters may be scaled down in size if needed.
  • You must include your poster number (### for 4-page posters, A## for 1-page abstracts, and C## for clinical abstracts)
  • You may use the official poster template in PowerPoint or PDF.
  • Please put up your posters the morning of your session, you must take them down after the poster session.
  • You are expected to print your own poster and bring it to the venue.

Student travel awardees

  • Student travel awardees (who do not give oral presentations) are invited to give a rapid-fire presentation of their work.
  • Use the official slide template.
  • Prepare maximum 2 slides.
  • 90-second timed talk (slides will be part of a single shared deck).
  • (student travel awardees without an oral presentation will be contacted about the 90-second rapid-fire talk).
